The new concentric clamping machines PROTEM BMFM 114 is designed to perform weld preparations on tubes up to 4.5 inches (114.3 mm). The machine can bevel, face and counterbore separately or in a simultaneous operation. The tool holderplate can hold up to four tool blocks. The new genaration of PROTEM BMFM benefit of the possibility to machine several tube Ø without changing the clamping system. Collets are not necessary. They enable a perfect preparation of tubes for manual or automated welding operations. Mounted on a bench, just one operator is necessary to machine tubes with the BMFM 114
